About Katherine
I am a registered dietitian, yoga and meditation teacher, and proud dog mom! I have been a dietitian for 5+ years and have worked in a variety of settings with diverse populations. I am passionate about supporting others to feel empowered in their health and well-being. It is important to me that you know you are so much more powerful than you think! You have the ability to support the health and well-being of your body and mind through aligned choices. You have the ability to live in a body that feels good while also having a positive relationship with food. You have the ability to take action, work in a partnership with your body, and care for yourself in order to truly feel good.
Approach to care
I utilize a whole-being approach, meaning your mental and emotional health, physical health, and spiritual health (aka you! your likes and dislikes, what lights you up, what makes you feel good, etc.) are all tended to as pieces of the puzzle in achieving your overall health and well-being desires. I utilize functional nutrition, a non-diet approach, intuitive eating concepts, mindful movement, mindfulness practices, self image and mindset shifts, behavior modification, and feel-good habit implementation.
Your first session with Katherine
In our first session together, we are going to chat! I want to get to know you and your story. We will take an hour to get to know one another, dive into what brings you to me, your history and relationship with food and your body, your current status in regards to food, body image and health, and where you desire to be. From there, meeting you exactly where you are with what you have right now, we will define a jumping off point, so you will walk away from your first session with a plan to begin taking steps towards achieving the "feel-good" you desire.
