About Katherine
For over 11 years I’ve translated nutrition science into everyday routines people actually enjoy. As an RDN with an MPH in International Nutrition and Food Security from Tulane, I’ve worked across private practice, community health, sports nutrition, mental health rehab, and detox centers. I’m passionate about helping clients reach their health goals by creating sensible calorie deficits, cultivating a good relationship with food, and calming the nervous system. Based in Los Angeles, I spend my free time running, cooking, reading, making memories with family and friends, and playing with my cats.
Approach to care
Food, behavior, and wellbeing are deeply connected. I ground recommendations in current evidence and practical protocols while treating you as a whole person, so we address sleep, stress, movement, and emotions as well as meals. We work from a weight-neutral, behavior-focused lens, without shame or diet culture, and prioritize sustainable skills, education, and clear action steps. I bring a warm, empathetic style paired with direct, accountability-minded coaching so we can build long-term habits together.
Your first session with Katherine
Expect a warm, low-pressure conversation where we'll explore your history with food, daily routines, wins, and barriers. You don’t need to have answers or perfect tracking. Together we'll establish one or two short-term, realistic goals and outline clear next steps that fit your life and are grounded in science. My aim is to make the visit reassuring and practical, so you leave with momentum and a plan rather than overwhelm.
