About Kathryn
With 15 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian, I bring a wealth of expertise to every session. I have worked in a variety of settings and with variety of different clients and disease states and enjoy helping bring clarity to client goals and help them reclaim their health. My passion for nutrition stems from a deep belief in our innate ability to heal our bodies, and I'm dedicated to helping others unlock their potential for optimal health and vitality. My most recent endeavors in the nutrition space have led me to helping women in the perimenopausal stage of life as well as helping those struggling with gut related disorders.
Approach to care
My approach is anything but conventional β I believe nutrition should be both fun and empowering. I enjoy working collaboratively with my clients and enjoy walking side by side with them on their health journey. I like to take a more holistic approach to nutritional counseling and not just focus on food - but also incorporating other tenants of wellness such as mindfulness, sleep support, exercise/movement and laughter! Guiding clients towards sustainable, long-term changes is my specialty, as I aim to demystify nutrition and tailor it to each individual's unique needs.
Your first session with Kathryn
Our first session is all about you! We will do a deep dive into your health history, current lifestyle habits, medications, and complete a nutrition assessment. I want really get to know you as a unique individual. We will discuss your long-term health goals and the steps we can take to get there. At the end of your first visit - we will aim to have an outline of small, realistic and achievable goals (or steps) as part of your personalized plan to reaching your long-term goals (sometimes this may take more than just one initial visit). At each consecutive session, we will review your successes and challenges, adjust the plan, and build on your progress!
