About Kathryn
Hi! I'm Katie. Over the years working in clinical and private practice settings, I've grown to specialize in working with busy adults who want their nutrition to support their lives, not complicate them. If youâre juggling work, family, training, stress, or all of the above, my goal is to help you build sustainable habits that actually fit your reality. I recognize that our relationship with food is shaped by lived experience, culture, stress, and identity. Where we stand depends on where we sit; your story matters in how we approach your care. Whether we're focusing on gut health, sports performance, metabolic health, or rebuilding trust with your body, weâll create flexible systems that build momentum without rigidity or shame.
Approach to care
My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in evidence. You are not just lab values or a calorie target - you are a whole person with a history, preferences, and goals. Together, weâll build a care plan rooted in evidence-based science and a Health At Every Size (HAES) mindset. I value an empathetic, warm approach and a direct, action-oriented style that translates research into practical steps you can actually live. My role is to guide, educate, and support you as you build confidence and consistency over time.
Your first session with Kathryn
Our first appointment is about understanding you. Weâll review your medical history, lifestyle, stressors, goals, and relationship with food. Iâll ask about whatâs worked, what hasnât, and what you want moving forward. This is a judgment-free space. Whether you feel motivated, overwhelmed, skeptical, or unsure where to start, youâre welcome here. By the end of our session, youâll leave with clear next steps and a plan that feels realistic.
