About Kathryn
Hi, I'm Kathryn. With 11 years as a Registered Dietitian and an MS in Human Nutrition from the University of Wisconsin Stout, I bring a science-based yet compassionate approach to nutrition. My career spans clinical and hospital settings, private practice, and sports nutrition, so I’m comfortable guiding people through medical histories, lab work, and performance goals. When I’m not with clients, I love cooking, lifting weights, running, taking long walks, and exploring local shops. I’m here to help you build sustainable habits that fit your life.
Approach to care
Together, we’ll base every plan on current evidence and real-world practicality. I’m committed to an empathetic, warm, and nonjudgmental space where you’re heard and supported. My approach blends education with clear, action-oriented steps so you can see steady progress without feeling overwhelmed. I promote HAES principles and a holistic lens, focusing on behaviors that support health at every size and long-term wellbeing rather than quick fixes. We’ll tailor strategies to your life, goals, and values.
Your first session with Kathryn
Our first appointment is a warm, collaborative conversation about you. We’ll review your medical history, discuss your daily routine, and explore how food fits into your goals. We’ll look at any lab work or biometrics you’ve had, but you don’t need to have it all figured out before we meet. Think of it as a friendly check-in where we learn together what matters most and what feels doable. By the end, we’ll agree on 1–2 short-term goals and a simple plan to start.
