About Kathryn
Katie has been a registered dietitian since 2016. She holds a master’s degree in Nutrition from Northeastern University and a bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University in Human Nutrition. Katie competed as an elite level synchronized swimmer. During her career, she had three national team appointments and competed collegiately for tOSU before retiring and pursuing her career as a dietitian. Katie's work as a dietitian is focused on helping individuals fuel their body’s properly, overcome body image struggles, and develop a healthy relationship with food. Katie believes every person deserves to feel good in their skin, fuel their body well, and enjoy the foods they eat, guilt-free!
Approach to care
Katie takes a collaborative, empathetic, and holistic approach to care. She believes the patient is as much of a decision maker in their care as the provider and works to develop a strong sense of trust and comfort with her patients through taking the time to listen to their goals, needs and challenges. Katie utilizes a weight-neutral approach focusing on behavior change and mindset around food to empower individuals. By working with Katie, you will create sustainable, nourishing, and ENJOYABLE nutrition habits and a strong mindset around food to foster peace and trust when it comes to your nutrition.

I focus on creating a weight-neutral environment, emphasizing behavior change and mindset around food. My goal is to help you develop sustainable, nourishing, and enjoyable nutrition habits by rebuilding your beliefs and building trust in yourself around food. Together, we’ll embrace mindful nourishment to support your unique journey toward the health you’re seeking. This initial session will set the foundation for a consistent and personalized approach moving forward.
