About Katie
I’m a Registered Dietitian with a Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. I’m passionate about helping others build a positive, balanced relationship with food and discover that food is not the enemy—it’s a powerful tool for supporting overall health and well-being. My approach is rooted in evidence-based practice, compassion, and collaboration, helping clients make sustainable changes that nourish both body and mind.
Approach to care
My approach to nutrition is holistic and rooted in empathy. I practice through the lens of Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size® (HAES), focusing on the whole person rather than just numbers or diagnoses. I believe health is about more than what’s on your plate—it’s influenced by your lifestyle, environment, emotions, and experiences. By taking the time to understand your unique story, I aim to help you build a positive relationship with food, trust your body’s cues, and create sustainable habits that support your overall well-being.
Your first session with Katie
During our first session, my goal is to get to know you. We’ll discuss your goals, health history, and lifestyle factors such as diet, exercise, sleep, and stress. This session builds a strong foundation for a personalized plan that supports your long-term health and helps you feel confident in making sustainable choices.
