About Katie
Hi, I’m Katie, and I’m so glad you’re here! As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, my heart is to help you find peace with food and confidence in caring for your health. Since 2020, I’ve worked with clients in clinical, community, and outpatient settings, supporting them in building habits that feel sustainable and life-giving. I believe nutrition should bring freedom, not frustration. My goal is to make healthy eating simple, approachable, and filled with grace—helping you tune into your body’s needs and make changes that fit your real life. For those who wish, I love incorporating faith into our sessions, viewing nourishment as a way to honor the body God created. I can't wait to get to know you!
Approach to care
My approach is holistic, client-centered, and rooted in grace. I believe nutrition care is most powerful when it honors the whole person—body, mind, and spirit. I strive to meet each client exactly where they are, blending evidence-based nutrition guidance with empathy, encouragement, and faith-filled perspective when desired. Together, we’ll uncover what nourishes you—not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually too. I don’t believe in rigid rules or guilt-driven eating; instead, I focus on helping you develop confidence, consistency, and a sense of joy in fueling your body well. My role is to listen deeply, educate clearly, and partner with you to create realistic strategies that fit your unique life. Whether your goals involve improving health markers, managing a condition, or simply feeling better day to day, we’ll work toward sustainable progress that honors your body as the incredible gift it is.
Your first session with Katie
In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and set a foundation for our work together. You can expect us to talk about: - Your story, motivations, and goals for working together - Your health background, eating habits, and daily routines - Any medical conditions, labs, or medications that may impact nutrition - Barriers or challenges you’ve faced, and the kind of support that helps you thrive From there, we’ll set one or two meaningful goals and create a plan for next steps. Our first meeting is just the beginning — ongoing sessions allow us to build momentum, celebrate progress, and make thoughtful adjustments along the way. My goal is to help you feel supported and empowered throughout your journey, with each session moving you closer to the health, balance, and peace you’re striving for.

Outside of my work as a dietitian, I'm active in my community volunteering for my church & participating in agricultural advocacy groups. I love reading, traveling, learning new skills (like playing guitar 🎸), and trying new foods wherever I go!
