Patient reviews
βI worked with Katie for about 4-5 months. I was dealing with thyroid cancer at the time and she educated me on a proper diet pre- and post- cancer treatment. Sending messages and asking questions was always answered promptly. Scheduling was a breeze. Very flexible with changing appointments as well. β

βEasy to schedule, smooth process from start to finish, and dietitian was professional and seems very knowledgeable..I didn't feel scammed by trying an appβ
About Katie
Hi, there! I'm a Registered Dietitian with a background in both clinical and functional nutrition. My experience covers a wide range of health conditions, including gastrointestinal disorders, autoimmune conditions, women's health (secondary amenorrhea, PCOS, fertility), and metabolic issues such as weight loss resistance, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. Through evidence-based strategies and a holistic approach to health, I empower individuals to make informed dietary choices, emphasizing the significance of whole foods, therapeutic diets (where necessary), and lifestyle modifications.
Approach to care
When it comes to health and nutrition, there is no "one size fits all" solution for everyone. My approach integrates the latest scientific research with a personalized, patient-centered focus. In my practice, I emphasize the importance of education and collaboration. I position myself as a supportive partner in my patientβs health journeys, working together to set achievable goals and celebrating the milestones attained along the way. As a healthcare practitioner, my hope is for each individual under my care to depart feeling empowered and in the driver's seat of their health.
Your first session with Katie
During our initial session, you can expect a thorough and comprehensive assessment of your health history, dietary patterns, lifestyle factors, and health goals. If you have had recent lab work done within the past year, I encourage you to upload these to the portal for my review prior to or during our appointment. Together, we'll collaborate to create a personalized game plan to support you in achieving your health and wellness goals!
