About Katie
Hi, Iâm Katie! Iâm a Jesus-loving wife and mom of four, and a Registered Dietitian with over a decade of experience in the state of Louisiana. Over the years, Iâve worked in many settingsâ6 years as a clinical dietitian in the hospital, 2 years in community nutrition, and 4 years in outpatient care. Through all of those roles, I saw the same thing over and over: people were overwhelmed and confused by nutrition. They felt like eating âhealthyâ meant perfection, all-or-nothing thinking, or complicated rules they couldnât stick with. Thatâs why I started with Nourishâto walk alongside women and families with simple, realistic nutrition strategies that actually fit real life.
Approach to care
I want people to stop overcomplicating nutrition. I believe in real life, grace-filled, small habits instead of perfection. I'm stepping into consulting and want to use my experience from clinical, community, and outpatient to serve people well My philosophy is grace-filled and practical: no crash diets, no shame, just small changes that add up to big wins over time. Whether weâre working on blood sugar, energy levels, weight management, or feeding a busy family, my goal is always the same: to help you feel confident and at peace with food, one small step at a time.

Outside of work, my world pretty much revolves around my kidsâand I wouldnât have it any other way. Itâs their world, and I happily live in it. I love watching baseball, cheering them on in all the sports, going to rodeos, and enjoying a good band whenever we can. Some of my favorite moments are simple ones: hanging out with friends and family and staying rooted in our church community, which is a huge part of our lives.
