About Katlyn

Welcome! As a registered dietitian nutritionist with experience in business and adult education, I blend clinical experience with a practical, down-to-earth style that helps you build habits that actually stick. My work in bariatric surgery, medical weight management, renal care management, and community nutrition has reinforced that lasting change requires personalization and sustainability. It’s about consistency, flexibility, and finding what works for you. I focus on making nutrition approachable and actionable, so you can feel confident in your choices without overthinking or relying on rigid rules. Thanks for stopping by and remember to eat your veggies!

Approach to care

I guide patients toward lasting change by blending evidence-based nutrition with warm, weight-neutral care. We'll move beyond short-term rules to build skills, routines, and a better relationship with food, using clear steps and accountability that feel doable. No "start over Monday" energy here. Even within bariatrics and medical weight management, I don’t view weight as the measure of success. If weight loss is a goal of yours, it should be a byproduct of consistent, supportive habits that we can work on together. Being an RDN trained in adult education, I prioritize teaching the "why" behind recommendations so you feel empowered to make your own choices. I look at the whole person, including mental and emotional factors, so progress is realistic and sustainable.
