About Katrina
I am a registered dietitian who provides personalized nutrition care through telehealth for individuals of all ages and backgrounds. She takes a supportive, evidence-based approach to help clients build sustainable habits that support long-term health and performance. I specialize in weight management, sports nutrition, gut health, eating disorders, and nutrition therapy for chronic conditions. She works collaboratively with clients to develop practical strategies tailored to their lifestyle, preferences, and health goals—whether improving energy levels, optimizing athletic performance, managing digestive concerns, creating meal plans, or supporting overall wellness. Through virtual sessions, I provide expert nutrition guidance convenient and accessible, helping clients navigate nutrition with clarity and confidence while creating lasting, realistic changes.
Approach to care
My approach to nutrition care is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practice. I believe nutrition should be practical, sustainable, and personalized to each individual’s lifestyle, health needs, and goals. Rather than focusing on restrictive rules, I work with clients to build balanced habits that support long-term health and overall well-being. I aim to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment where individuals feel heard and empowered to make meaningful changes. Because nutrition is not one-size-fits-all, I take time to understand each person’s background, preferences, and health history. Together, we develop realistic strategies that support goals such as weight management, improved energy, digestive health, and chronic disease management while building confidence and long-term healthy habits.
Your first session with Katrina
During your first appointment, we will review your health history, medical background, and current eating habits to better understand your nutrition needs. We will also discuss your personal goals, whether related to weight management, sports performance, improving energy, managing a chronic condition, or overall wellness. Based on this discussion, I will provide personalized nutrition recommendations, including guidance on calorie needs and macronutrients such as protein, carbohydrates, and fats, as well as key micronutrients that support health. Together, we will create a practical plan and outline the steps we will take to help you achieve your goals.
