About Katrina
I'm so glad you're here! Born and raised in the greater Los Angeles area, I’ve dedicated the past four years to helping individuals build a nourishing relationship with food. My passion is creating a life where food fosters connection, supports health, and enhances well-being. I have extensive experience in eating disorders and performance nutrition. Before Nourish, I worked in behavioral healthcare, specializing in partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs for adults and adolescents. I provide an inclusive, judgment-free space, removing shame from eating and movement, whether you’ve just begun to explore your relationship with food or striving for deeper healing.
Approach to care
My approach to care is rooted in empathy, flexibility, and a commitment to creating a supportive, non-judgmental environment. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all solution to nutrition. Everyone's needs, lifestyle, and goals are unique, and I work collaboratively to develop practical, sustainable interventions that work for you. Guided by Health at Every Size (HAES) and Intuitive Eating, I help individuals of all ages nurture a positive relationship with food and their bodies. I provide an evidence-based and holistic framework, but you remain the expert on your own life. Together, we’ll build a path that prioritizes healing, balance, and long-term well-being.
Your first session with Katrina
In our first session, we’ll take the time to get to know each other better. I believe that our relationship to food and our bodies is deeply personal, so creating a space where you feel safe, heard, and respected is my top priority. This is a collaborative process, and I want you to feel fully supported from the start. We’ll explore your nutrition and health goals, your past and present relationship with food, and co-create achievable short- and long-term goals. Whether you’re looking to develop a peaceful approach to nourishing yourself, create meal plans eating disorder recovery, manage a specific health concern, or work towards body acceptance, I’ll guide you every step of the way.
