About Kayla
Hi, I'm Kayla, and I'm grateful you're here. I've spent 2 years as a Registered Dietitian after earning a BS in Nutrition and Dietetics and an MS in Exercise Physiology and Sports Nutrition. My career has spanned clinical and hospital care, sports nutrition, research, and community health, and I carry the credentials MS, LDN, RDN with pride. I love teaching people to build a more intentional relationship with food. When I'm not at work, you'll find me working out, visiting friends, traveling, or trying a new place. I'm here to support you with warmth, curiosity, and science.
Approach to care
At the heart of my care is a belief that lasting health comes from collaboration, clarity, and compassion. I bring evidence-based, science-focused guidance to every plan, while staying empathetic and warm so you feel seen and supported. I favor direct, actionable steps and steady accountability, but I never rush you into a choice. I practice a holistic, weight-neutral approach that aligns with Health At Every Size principles and focuses on sustainable habits, not quick fixes. I empower you with education so you can decide confidently.
Your first session with Kayla
Our first appointment is all about you. We'll review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics, discuss your current routines, and establish short-term goals that fit your life. It's a low-pressure conversation, not an exam, and you don't need to have it all figured out. Together we'll explore your relationship with food, your values, and what success looks like in the coming weeks. You'll leave with a clear sense of where we're headed and a couple of small next steps.
