About Kayla
I am a Registered Dietitian based in Charlotte, NC, specializing in functional and integrative nutrition. With experience across a wide variety of specialties, I take a whole-person approach to health—looking beyond symptoms to uncover root causes and create sustainable strategies for healing. I am passionate about helping people work through their challenges with health and nutrition, whether that means addressing digestive issues, improving energy, managing weight, or working through hormonal imbalances (and so much more!) My goal is to empower each client with the tools, knowledge, and support they need to thrive in their daily lives.
Approach to care
I take a whole-body approach to health, looking at how nutrition, lifestyle, and underlying factors all work together. Using tools like labs and functional testing, I help uncover the root causes of health challenges. Together, we create a personalized plan that’s practical, supportive, and designed to help you feel your best. By combining evidence-based practice with an integrative perspective, I strive to make nutrition practical, approachable, and transformative for every individual I work with.
Your first session with Kayla
Our first session is all about getting to know you! I’m chatty and love to hear your story :) —where you’re coming from, what you’ve tried, and how you feel you’ll be best supported. We’ll spend time talking through your health and nutrition goals, and I’ll use that information to create a clear, personalized plan just for you. My goal is for you to leave feeling supported, confident, educated, and ready to take on the simple “homework” steps we set together, so you can start moving toward a better you right away.
