About Kayla
Kayla has been a Registered Dietitian for more than five years. She graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a degree in General Dietetics and went on to complete her dietetic internship at Lipscomb University. She is currently working towards completing her Master's in Nutrition as well. In addition to being a Registered Dietitian, Kayla has completed training to be a Certified Lactation Counselor as well. While Kayla has extensive experience in women's health, she's also confident and trained in treating heart disease, GI conditions, diabetes, and other general health concerns.
Approach to care
Kayla takes a highly individualized approach to patient care, recognizing that nutrition is never a one-size-fits-all situation. She focuses on creating realistic, sustainable changes that fit each person’s lifestyle and needs. Kayla wants her patients to leave each session with a clear goal and understanding of what they are working towards.
Your first session with Kayla
In your first session, Kayla will take time to get to know you as a person - you'll discuss your day to day schedule, what a typical day of eating looks like, and any significant medical history. You can expect to discuss your nutrition goals and identify key steps to achieve these goals.
