About Kayla
Hi, I’m Kayla! I’m a Registered Dietitian with over eight years of experience in clinical nutrition. I’ve spent much of my career working in the hospital setting, supporting individuals and families during some of the most challenging and vulnerable seasons of their lives. Those experiences shaped the way I practice today — with empathy, patience, and a deep respect for how personal nutrition really is. I’m a certified nutrition support dietitian, with expertise in managing tube feeding and total parenteral nutrition. Alongside that, I’ve worked with people navigating heart health concerns, weight management, bariatric surgery, cancer treatment, and those on their journey through pregnancy and postpartum recovery. My experience over the years has shown me that good nutrition goes beyond food; it’s about caring for your entire well-being, including your habits, mindset, and lifestyle.
Approach to care
My approach is gentle, realistic, and rooted in evidence-based care. I believe in the power of intuitive eating — helping people reconnect with their body’s cues, find balance, and enjoy food without guilt or rigid rules. My goal is to create a space where you feel supported and understood, not judged or overwhelmed. I focus on what works for you, in your life. Being a mom has taught me even more about the importance of balance, self-care, and making nutrition fit into a busy lifestyle, so I love helping clients create realistic habits that actually stick — ones that feel doable and even a little joyful. Whether you’re rebuilding your strength, starting a new chapter, or just trying to feel more at home in your body, I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion, practical guidance, and a little encouragement every step of the way.
Your first session with Kayla
Your first session with me is a relaxed, judgment-free space where we get to know each other and explore your unique nutrition journey. I’ll ask about your medical history, current habits, nutrition goals, and any challenges you may be facing. Together, we’ll discuss what matters most to you and identify practical steps to support your health. By the end of our session, you’ll leave with clearly defined short-term goals and a personalized plan to move forward—giving you a clear path and actionable steps to start making meaningful changes.
