About Kayla

Kayla is a Registered Dietitian of almost 10 years that specializes in working in whole-food plant-based nutrition, weight management, eating disorders, and sports nutrition. I am also a certified personal trainer, run coach, nutrition coach, and certified in plant-based nutrition from T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies. I have worked with an outpatient eating disorder team, struggled for years with my own disordered eating, worked with endurance athletes, and those looking to transition to plant-based for health, weight loss, or performance. I want to help you to find a good relationship with food to fuel your body for your health, sport, and life!

Approach to care

Kayla's approach to care is patient centered, weight-neutral, and focused on plant-based nutrition. I will help guide you to create new habits that will lead you to your goals! By you being the leader of your own health journey, you will feel in control of your habits and decisions to achieve optimal health and/or performance! If you are not currently plant-based and have no desire to be fully plant-based, that is okay too! I am still open to working with you if you are open to adding more plants to your diet to achieve optimal health or performance (if that is your goal!)

Your first session with Kayla

In your first session, we will go over your medical history, your current eating habits, exercise habits, your challenges/struggles, and your goals, etc. We will mostly be learning about you! I love taking the time to get to know you first before rushing into a nutrition plan or education, so we can tailor an individual plan that will work best for you!
