About Kaylee
Hi, I am Kaylee and I am excited to start working with you on improving your health and wellness! I've been a registered dietitian nutritionist since 2013 and have spent most of my career working as an outpatient dietitian in a clinic. I have worked extensively with various disease conditions ranging from diabetes to heart disease to malnutrition. After my second child was born, I felt a tug to pivot my career to focus on women's health. And for the past 5 years, my main focus has been in women's health and wellness. Hormonal health, fertility, and preconception nutrition is my passion and I love helping women learn how to nourish their bodies. I can't wait to help you look and feel your absolute best!
Approach to care
My approach to nutrition and wellness combines functional nutrition, a whole food diet, and mindful/ intuitive eating all while being realistic about what is sustainable for the long-term. I strongly advise an 80/20 approach. Meaning, there is always room for every type of food and nothing is ever off limits. That being said, I also strongly believe that women feel their best when they are nourished with real foods and I work with my clients to find food choices that are both nourishing and realistic. I love working within the functional nutrition model that emphasizes root causes and digger deeper than providing one-size-fits-all diet plans. My ultimate goal is to leave my clients feeling empowered and equipped to make diet changes that will elevate their health and wellness.
Your first session with Kaylee
In our first session I am going to ask you a lot of questions, so be ready to share! I want to fully understand you and your goals, limitations, and health background, etc. It is important that I understand where you've been and where you see yourself heading. I also want to get to know you as a person so we will likely spend some time doing some small talk. Of course, you will also have the opportunity to ask me any questions. Then together we will create action steps for our next appointment.
