About Kaylen

Hi, I’m Kaylen. I’m a Registered Dietitian with an MS, and I’m credentialed as an RD, RDN, LDN, and LD. I earned my degree from Florida International University and have spent my early career in Community Health. My practice combines evidence-based nutrition with real life, focusing on practical solutions you can actually sustain. When I’m not seeing patients, you’ll find me in the kitchen cooking, thrifting for treasures, reading, or volunteering. I value curiosity, warmth, and collaboration as we work toward your health goals.

Approach to care

I believe care should be evidence-based, empathetic, and actionable. We’ll work together, using current science to guide clear steps while you feel supported in a warm, nonjudgmental space. I practice with a HAES lens and a holistic view, recognizing that food choices are connected to stress, sleep, mood, and culture. My goal is to empower you with knowledge and practical skills so you can sustain healthy habits long after our sessions. We’ll set goals that fit your life and values and measure progress by behavior and wellbeing, not perfection.

Your first session with Kaylen

Our first appointment is all about you. We'll review lab work and biometrics, discuss medical history, and explore your relationship with food. Together we'll create a personalized meal plan and establish short term goals aligned with what matters most to you. You don't need to have it all figured out before we meet; this session is a warm, judgment-free conversation designed to set us up for steady progress. Think of it as a foundation you can build on as we move forward together.
