About Kelli

Hello! I am so excited to meet you! :) I am a Registered Dietitian who often says the RD after my name stands for "Realistic Dietitian”. I find joy in turning the science of nutrition into simple real-life applications to improve the physical health and wellbeing of those I work with. I also have a passion for body respect and creating safe spaces to explore what that looks like for each individual. Nutrition education and counseling are the areas I am drawn to because I value cultivating relationships with others, being a bright part of someone's day and to use my life-long love of learning to teach and counsel others.

Approach to care

I use a compassionate, enthusiastic counseling approach with my clients to promote health and wellness and manage chronic diseases. With curiosity and gentle kindness, I guide clients to their own self-discoveries' of areas of improvement in their personal lifestyle habits affecting food, and health. Change can be hard, especially when it comes to food, movement of the body, and fostering a positive relationship with food. That is why I believe small but powerful steps can progress you to your goals. The idea that "mile by mile, it's a trial; yard by yard, it's hard; but inch by inch, it's a cinch" is a standard I work and live by.

Your first session with Kelli

During your first 60-minute session you can expect to be welcomed in an engaging and comfortable conversation all about you! To build a nutritional foundation to work off, you will be invited in a warm and non-judgmental space to share details about your medical history, eating patterns and physical activity. We will also explore your daily routine, any dietary changes that have worked or have not worked for you. Based on your choices, we will discuss nutrition and lifestyle areas you would like to learn about and/or change. With you as the expert of your health we will build a personalized nutrition plan and clear take-home action steps.
