Kellie Lunday is a registered dietitian with nearly a decade of experience helping individuals achieve their health and performance goals through personalized, evidence-based nutrition. Kellie earned her Master of Science in Nutrition from Texas Woman's University and completed her dietetic internship at The University of Texas at Austin. Whether you're seeking to optimize athletic performance, manage your weight, improve overall wellness, or navigate nutrition in a demanding corporate lifestyle, Kellie provides compassionate, culturally-informed guidance tailored to your individual needs.
Approach to care
I believe that nutrition is a powerful tool, not only for preventing disease, but for fueling your daily life, achieving your performance goals, and exploring the rich diversity of global cuisines. Food should energize you, support your ambitions, and bring enjoyment to your life. My approach centers on flexibility, individualization, and evidence-based practice. I don't believe in rigid food rules or one-size-fits-all meal plans. Instead, I work collaboratively with each client to understand their unique food culture, lifestyle, preferences, and goals. Whether you're training for competition, managing a demanding career, or simply wanting to feel your best, I view every eating opportunity as a chance to support your body's needs. My goal is to empower you with the knowledge and tools to make informed nutrition choices that align with your values and help you thrive, both in performance and in everyday life.
Your first session with Kellie
Your first session creates a strong foundation for your nutrition journey. Bring any relevant materials, including recent lab work, medication lists, food journals, and your specific goals. During Our Session, we'll explore your health history, current eating patterns, daily routine, activity level, and challenges you're facing. We'll review your goals and motivations to ensure we're aligned on success. This nutrition assessment helps me understand how food fits into your lifestyle, culture, and performance needs. You'll receive personalized strategies tailored to your schedule, budget, and food traditions. I provide practical education that translates nutrition science into realistic, sustainable changes. We'll use tools like food journals, lab work review, and behavior experiments for collaborative goal-setting, with ongoing support and meal planning guidance.
