About Kellie
Hi there, I am so glad you're here! I'm Kellie, a registered dietitian of ~4.5 years and proud to be a part of the Nourish community. I have a strong and diverse background in the clinical setting (both inpatient and outpatient) and feel confident in my ability to help others with a variety of nutrition-related challenges. So, whether you're looking for general nutrition guidance, assistance managing chronic illness, support with weight management, or relief from GI-related issues, I would love to help! I look forward to meeting you and starting our journey together soon!
Approach to care
I believe in individualized, research-based, experience-backed nutrition counseling and care. I believe in a collaborative, supportive, and judgement-free approach. I believe in the "all foods can fit" mentality and the development of attainable goals and sustainable patterns. Most of all, I believe that small changes produce big outcomes--which is such a rewarding experience for both myself and my clients! Throughout each session, we will work together to analyze challenges / progress, select appropriate interventions, and develop specific goals. However, I also aim to provide you with tips / tricks / tools to utilize in the future. After all, my hope is for you to leave each session and complete your nutrition counseling journey feeling empowered, knowledgeable, and ready to take-on other nutrition-related obstacles that may come your way.
Your first session with Kellie
My first goal is to get to know you--daily routine / typical schedule, eating patterns, dietary preferences, pertinent medical history, hobbies / interests, nutrition-related challenges, priorities, etc. We will discuss any initial questions / concerns that you may have and outline your main goals. Ultimately, the first session serves as a time to develop a strong foundation for the rest of our journey together!
