About Kelly

Hi, I’m Kelly, a Registered Dietitian (RD) with 30 years of experience. I’ve worked in clinical and hospital settings, private practice, corporate wellness, community health, and sports nutrition. I’m credentialed as an RD/LD, with certifications including Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES), Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), and Mediator Release Test (MRT/LEAP) therapy for food and chemical sensitivities. I have extensive experience with pediatrics, teens and adults across the life span for both a healthy lifestyle and the challenges that come with chronic diseases. I have a passion for helping others with eating disorders as I have recovered from anorexia, compulsive exercising and bulimia. Outside of work I love gardening, dog rescue and fostering, traveling, cheering on Penn State football, DIY projects, crafts, and skin care.

Approach to care

I believe care should be evidence based, empathetic, and collaborative. We'll approach nutrition as science that fits your life, not a one size fits all plan. I practice Health At Every Size and focus on sustainable behaviors, not quick fixes. My educational approach aims to empower you with clear knowledge and practical skills, while honoring your values, goals, and lifestyle. We'll explore how food fits into your day, energy, mood, and well being, addressing the whole person with warmth and curiosity.

Your first session with Kelly

Our first appointment is all about you. We'll start by reviewing your medical history and current routines, then talk through your relationship with food, daily habits, and goals. You don't need to have everything figured out yet; this is a collaborative, no pressure conversation. Together we will create a practical meal plan and set 1–2 short term goals that feel doable. The space is welcoming and nonjudgmental, and I’ll listen first so we can tailor support to your life and long term well being.
