About Kelly
Kelly has nearly a decade of experience as a dietitian and has worked primarily with those struggling with food/health anxiety, disordered eating, GI disorders, and body image distress. Her interest in nutrition has evolved into a quest to understand the psychology of eating. She has found that what most of her clients are looking for is an easy and peaceful relationship with food - but are often experiencing anything but this. She believes that achieving our personal health goals should not have to come at the expense of our mental well-being, and that flexibility and spontaneity around food and movement is not only possible, but allows for more joy and pleasure in life.
Approach to care
As a non-diet dietitian, Kelly practices Medical Nutrition Therapy though a weight-inclusive lens - prioritizing individual health outcomes over a number on the scale. Central to her work is helping her clients foster a positive and more peaceful relationship with food and their body. Kelly uses an intuitive eating and gentle nutrition approach - weaving in self-care, self-compassion, and other non-diet strategies to support her clients in unraveling the unique and complex factors at play when it comes to these relationships. Sessions are collaborative and tailored to the unique needs, goals and values of her clients.
