About Kelly

Hi, I’m Kelly. I’m a Registered Dietitian with twenty years of experience, and I studied at Northern Illinois University. I’ve worked in clinical and hospital settings as well as community health, and I’ve learned how to translate complex science into practical guidance you can use every day. I’m proud to bring my CDCES and RD credentials into our work together, tailoring plans to your life. Outside of work I enjoy staying active, trying new recipes from Food Network, and cheering on my three boys at baseball, basketball, and football. I’m grateful you’re here and I’m excited to learn your story.

Approach to care

I believe care should be evidence based and deeply human. I anchor my practice in current science while leaning on empathy and warmth to build trust. We’ll work together to create sustainable habits that fit your life, not a quick fix or diet culture. I practice with a Health At Every Size mindset, focusing on behaviors, well being, and resilience rather than punishment. My approach is holistic and educational, helping you understand the why behind recommendations and translating it into clear, doable steps that you can sustain long term.

Your first session with Kelly

Our first appointment is a warm, collaborative conversation. Think of it as a chance to get to know each other and set a foundation for your goals. We’ll review your medical history, talk through your current routine, and explore your goals and any concerns about food. We’ll look at lab work or biometrics together and translate what they mean for you. Then we’ll establish short term goals and begin crafting a meal plan that fits your schedule and preferences. There’s no pressure here, just a plan we build together.
