About Kelly

I have worked as an RD for the past 7 years with a focus on supporting individuals with eating disorders, disordered eating, and those looking to improve their overall relationship with food. Helping people break up with diet culture, heal their relationship with food, and shift into a mindset of using food to fuel their lives is what I love most about my job as an RD. Throughout my career I have worked with individuals struggling with Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating Disorder, ARFID, and disordered eating. I also specialize in supporting athletes who are wanting to improve both their relationship with food and their athletic performance through proper fueling.

Approach to care

I love working to support people in reshaping their relationship with food. I practice from an "all foods fit" mentality and I truly believe food can be a neutral part of everyone’s lives. Food is not meant to be something we fear, it is a tool to help us live our most fulfilling lives. I have a kind yet direct approach to my nutrition counseling style, providing guidance, education, and support while also helping patients continue to move towards their goals by providing a gentle nudge when needed.

Your first session with Kelly

In our first session my main goal is to learn how I can best support you. There is no “one size fits all” approach to supporting individuals with their nutrition goals and relationship with food and I believe every person deserves a clinician who is willing to support them in a unique way. In order to help me understand how best to help you, we will first go through a detailed nutrition assessment, followed by an in depth discussion about your goals, and I will share more about my role in supporting you and what our work together can look like.

Hobbies

When I am not supporting my clients, I love being outside. As a former college athlete finding ways to be active is a huge part of my life. I love skiing, mountain biking, camping, and trail running with my pup Luna. I also enjoy getting to spend quality time with my family and friends over board games, great movies, and tasty meals.
