About Kelly
I am a born and raised Ohioan and have been a Registered Dietitian since 2019. My interest, passion, and experience as an RD has always been with fitness and sports nutrition. However, I also enjoy working with a wide group of individuals, especially those that are so overwhelmed with all the nutrition information out there and have no idea where to begin their journey. Nutrition should not be as complicated as it is made out to be, which is why I love taking what I learn from research & podcast discussions on nutrition and making the information approachable and applicable to you & your journey.
Approach to care
My approach to care is both patient-centered and patient-led. You are an individual, and your approach to nutrition should be as such. Living a healthy life is multifactorial, so while nutrition is a big component, I also incorporate discussions of sleep, support systems, stress management, physical activity, and hydration into my approach to care. I am passionate about educating and empowering you as an individual so that you can feel confident in your own approach to tackling and achieving your goals, as well as forming these changes into a long-term lifestyle change without restriction.
Your first session with Kelly
I want to learn more about YOU, and not just in relation to your nutrition and goals, but what makes life worth living for you. You can also expect a non-restrictive approach to nutrition. I believe that all foods can fit into a healthy lifestyle (especially carbohydrates!). Weβll discuss your past nutrition experiences, what youβd like to achieve in the future, and what you are currently doing so that we can bridge all of those gaps and find the most approachable, sustainable plan for you!
