About Kelly
Welcome! My name is Kelly and I'm a Registered Dietitian who helps people with IBS and SIBO feel more comfortable and confident in their day-to-day lives. I became a dietitian because I love food — how it’s grown, how it’s used, and how central it is to culture and connection. When I developed IBS in my 20s, that experience led me to specialize in gut health. I spent years trying to manage those symptoms and it took me a while to find what works for me. Today, I help clients move out of the guessing and restriction cycle and into a place where food feels less scary, symptoms are more predictable, and life feels bigger again. Beyond IBS and SIBO, I also support clients with other gut health conditions, like Microscopic Colitis, GERD, and Celiac disease, as well as Systemic Nickel Allergy Syndrome (SNAS).
Approach to care
My approach to care is practical, evidence-based, and collaborative. IBS and SIBO aren't just about food, and lasting relief rarely comes from restricting more foods. Instead, we focus on understanding what’s actually driving your symptoms and using the right tools at the right time. Some of those tools may include fiber type and timing, hydration, and eating patterns, as well as considering lifestyle factors like stress, sleep, and how you eat — not just what you eat. As a dietitian, my goal is to meet you where you are and build a plan that fits into your real life. You won’t be handed a generic plan or expected to change everything at once. The goal is steady progress, better understanding, and long-term confidence managing your symptoms.
Your first session with Kelly
Your first session is all about getting clarity and feeling heard. We’ll talk through the symptoms you're experiencing, what you've tried so far, your eating patterns, your routines, and your lifestyle. By the end of the session, my goal is that you’ll have a clearer understanding of why your symptoms may be happening, a couple of realistic, actionable next steps you can start right away, and a plan that feels supportive and manageable.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition & Dietetic Internship — University of Texas at Austin, Master’s degree in Business — University of North Texas, Advanced IBS Training — Monash University
Hobbies
Outside of work, I love being outdoors, traveling, and trying new foods. I especially love pickles. I’m working on visiting all 50 states (only six left!) and usually plan trips around time outside whenever I can. I also enjoy crafting, caring for my indoor plants, and listening to audiobooks and podcasts. I am also obsessed with Tajín and chamoy and I carry little containers in my bag, just in case.
