About Kelly
Food has been my compass for the last 20+ years as I’ve worked across clinical hospital floors, private practice rooms, corporate wellness/school nutrition programs, and community health initiatives. I trained at Louisiana Tech University with a BS in Nutrition and Dietetics, and I practice as an RD and LDN. I love reading about new research, tending a garden to grow and preserve my own food, and sharing simple, practical ways to enjoy real meals without guilt. I want nutrition to fit your life, not the other way around.
Approach to care
Science shapes the recommendations I offer, and empathy shapes how we put them into practice. I draw on evidence-based protocols while listening deeply to your story, so we can choose practical steps that last. We’ll focus on behaviors and health, not the number on a scale, using a weight-neutral, whole-person lens that includes mental and emotional wellness. I teach skills you can use long term, give clear action steps, and adapt as life changes, always without judgment.
Your first session with Kelly
Expect a relaxed, thorough conversation where we’ll review your medical history, lab work, and any biometrics you have. We’ll talk honestly about your relationship with food, what’s working, and what feels hard. Together we’ll set a couple of short-term goals and sketch a realistic meal plan you can try at home. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out, just a supportive, educational space to start building sustainable habits.
