About Kelly
Hey! I'm Kelly. I've been practicing as a dietitian since 2018 with experience working in long term care/skilled nursing as well as outpatient surgical weight loss/weight management and primary care. I also have a background as a nurse as well, but realized it wasn't the best fit for me, but it made me realize that I have more of a passion for preventative health and decreasing future risk of chronic disease. I am originally from CT. I enjoy cooking and staying active.
Approach to care
My approach involves meeting you where you are at in your health journey. I believe in working with you to help you start small, but ultimately those small steps/goals are what makes the biggest difference and what helps your long term progress be more sustainable and easier to stay consistent with.
Your first session with Kelly
You can expect an informal conversation on first getting to know each other and getting a good picture of your lifestyle and past medical history, foods you enjoy/diet preferences, expectations you have for me in working with you. It may not entail a lot of education at first, but I can offer a couple of realistic goals to get you started on your journey.
