About Kelsey
Hi, I'm Kelsey! I'm a Registered Dietitian with 10 years of experience and a solid foundation in science and compassionate care. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY, and I completed my Dietetic Internship at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. My career has taken me through clinical and hospital settings, private practice, community health, group homes for people with developmental disabilities, and inpatient rehab. I hold CDN and RDN postnominals. When I'm not working, I love spending time with my two young kids, family and friends, and I also enjoy yoga and meditation. I'm dedicated to helping you build a sustainable, collaborative relationship with food while providing warm and compassionate care.
Approach to care
My care philosophy is rooted in collaboration and evidence. I rely on evidence-based, science-focused guidance while keeping you supported. I approach nutrition with a weight-neutral lens, aligned with principles that prioritize health and wellbeing over quick fixes. We will design practical, sustainable plans that fit your life, not the other way around. I value a holistic view of health, considering sleep, stress, movement, and nourishment, and I aim to educate you so you can make informed decisions with confidence. I'm here to walk with you as you build lasting habits!
Your first session with Kelsey
Our first appointment is all about you. We'll review your medical history, current routines, relationship with food, and short term goals in a warm, non-judgmental space. This is a collaborative conversation, not an exam, and you don't need to have everything figured out yet. We'll talk about what has worked for you, what hasn't, and what feels realistic to start. By the end, we'll set 1 or 2 small, achievable goals and outline the next steps to keep you moving forward together.
