About Kelsey

Hi there, I'm Kelsey. I look forward to meeting with you and supporting your health goals. I have over 12 years of experience helping individuals use food to support their health, manage chronic conditions, and improve overall well-being. I hold advanced credentials in functional nutrition, which allows me to address the complex connections between nutrition, sleep, stress, movement, gut health, and micronutrient balance in our visits. We will talk about all of these areas in our visits. My clinical background includes extensive work in primary care, where I see clients for 1:1 support with their diabetes, prediabetes, heart health, gut symptoms like constipation, diarrhea or bloating, or desire for weight loss. I also have significant experience with nutrition for pregnancy, preconception and fertility, as well as postpartum.

Approach to care

My philosophy is inclusive, evidence-based, and client-centered. My goal is to make nutrition appointments feel supportive, respectful, and rooted in both science and your real-life circumstances. For weight concerns specifically, I practice using intuitive eating strategies and a Health at Every Size (HAES) framework to support realistic, sustainable progress. I follow an “all foods fit” model—no restrictive rules or judgment—just tailored guidance based on your goals, lifestyle, labs, and symptoms.

Your first session with Kelsey

Our initial visit is a 55-minute, comprehensive consultation. We’ll review your medical history, lab work, symptoms, current eating patterns, lifestyle, routines, and overall goals. I’ll ask you to walk me through a typical day of eating so we can identify strengths and areas for improvement. We’ll also address any questions or misconceptions you may have about nutrition to make sure you have a clear plan. You’ll leave the session with: personalized nutrition and food recommendations, manageable daily goals, resources and tools to support you between sessions, plus a feeling of "I can do it!". We will follow up several times to check in on your progress but also to find out what support you might need.
