About Kelsie
Welcome, I am so glad you are here! My name is Kelsie, and I grew up in League City, Texas, surrounded by the rich flavors and traditions of Gulf Coast cuisine. From an early age, I was fascinated by the way food brings people together and shapes our experiences. My passion for nutrition was sparked by a desire to better understand the connection between what we eat and how we feel. This journey led me to pursue a career where I could help others discover the joy and power of nourishing their bodies and minds.
Approach to care
My approach focuses on empathy, collaboration, and individualization. I believe the more I learn about you, your relationship with food, and your goals, the better equipped I am to support you as an individual. I strive to truly understand your unique experiences, challenges, and goals so that I can provide a safe and inclusive space for you to feel supported. Together, we’ll create an individualized plan that fits your lifestyle, celebrates your cultural and personal preferences, and allows you to feel empowered. I am also a certified yoga teacher, and I leverage what I have learned in my yoga practice to support strengthening the mind-body connection. I believe the most sustainable changes come from working as a team, setting realistic goals, and building on the strengths you already possess.
Your first session with Kelsie
My goal in our first session is to get to know you as a whole and establish a comfortable judgment-free environment. I’ll ask about your upbringing, what you do for a living, your activity level, your day-to-day life, the foods you loved growing up, and the role meals have played in your life so that I can get to know you. We’ll also explore your current habits, your relationship with food, any concerns you have, and what motivates you to seek change. My goal is to create a comfortable space where you feel empowered to share your story so we can build a plan that truly works for you.
