About Kena
Hello! As someone who once struggled with a broken relationship with food, I understand how confusing and difficult it can be to figure out where to start with nutrition and what to do to make healthy changes. Nutrition looks difficult, but it doesn't have to be! As a dietitian, it is my job to to make the science behind nutrition easy to understand, no matter where you are in your health journey. My main goal is to help you develop sustainable positive habits without sacrificing the joy that comes with food. I am here to help you understand nutrition in a way that will help you work toward your own personal goals, one bite at a time!
Approach to care
Nutrition is deeply personal. I will work with you to meet you where you are at in order to guide you to where you want to be. I am here to listen to your nutrition concerns and help develop a plan with you to ensure that you are able to reach your goals and maintain the habits that helped you get there. While the outcome of your journey will be dependent on you and how you choose to approach your challenges, I will be with you every step of the way to support you or to stop, rethink, and adapt when things don't seem to be going as planned.
Your first session with Kena
The first session will be a chance for me to get to know you and understand what challenges you wish to address. This will help me make sure that the care you receive is personalized to your unique concerns and lifestyle. The journey to make long-term changes can seem endless, but I will make sure to help you develop both short-term and long-term goals to make the process both engaging and rewarding.
