About Kendra
I am an RD with 18 years of experience in areas of pediatrics, geriatrics, cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal nutrition, nutrition support, diabetes, kidney disease, and weight management. I have worked in acute care hospital settings, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, and dialysis clinics.
Approach to care
I believe in using evidence-based analysis to care. In addition, I think that patients should come first in the expectations and goals for nutrition counseling. I aim to thoroughly assess a patient's history and readiness for change before making recommendations.
Your first session with Kendra
I will conduct an initial assessment by obtaining a medical history, dietary habits, lifestyle, and health goals. I will ask open-ended questions and review food logs if available to understand your relationship with food and identify areas needing improvement. We can follow up as needed regarding your progress and future goals.
