About Kendra
Hello, I am so glad you are here! I’m deeply committed to helping you build confidence in your ability to improve your health—without resorting to fad diets or unnecessarily restrictive eating patterns. My background includes experience working with individuals to stabilize and reverse unintended weight loss related to various diseases or treatments. I support patients who want to improve their general nutrition or who are managing nutrient deficiencies or chronic disease. I help families address common pediatric nutrition subjects such as picky eating, and starting solids, and have personal experience navigating elimination diets for non-IgE mediated food allergies (FPIES and FPIAP). I look forward to working with you.
Approach to care
My approach is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and evidence-based care. I enjoy thoroughly researching issues brought to me by my clients so I can be sure you receive the best possible guidance. I will be your consultant, ally, and accountability partner as you work toward your nutrition goals. I like to focus on small sustainable shifts in priority areas that can lead to meaningful improvements, such as improved lab results, increased energy, or a healthier relationship with food.
Your first session with Kendra
The first session is mainly about getting to know you. We will discuss your relationship with food, your habits, routines, eating patterns, goals, expectations and concerns. We will explore any health history, your motivation style, and any challenges you can identify. We will begin to create a plan for our work together and make some first, achievable, short-term goals.
