About Kenly
Hi, I’m Kenly! I’m a Registered Dietitian and a North Carolina girl through and through. I’ve worked primarily in telehealth, supporting clients from a wide variety of backgrounds and life experiences, which has given me a broad, practical perspective on nutrition. Outside of sessions, you’ll usually find me doing yoga, lifting, hiking, crafting (crochet included!), reading by the pool, or soaking up time outdoors, often alongside my golden retriever, Holden, who I love with my whole heart. I bring a flexible, curious approach to my work, creating a supportive, affirming space that adapts to how you think, learn, and live. I’m deeply grateful for the trust you place in me, and I’d be honored to walk alongside you every step of the way.
Approach to care
I take a client-centered, curiosity-driven approach to nutrition that is evidence-based, holistic, and warmly collaborative. My goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free space where you feel safe exploring your relationship with food, movement, sleep, stress, and your habits and goals. We’ll tackle challenges together, celebrate wins, and build strategies that actually fit your life, because lasting change comes from sustainable habits, not quick fixes. I meet you where you are, honor your unique experiences, and help you build resilience when things don’t go perfectly. Sessions are collaborative: I bring guidance and evidence-based strategies, and you bring your knowledge of yourself. I strive to create a safe, affirming space for all clients, using a weight-neutral, HAES-inspired lens to turn science into practical, sustainable steps you can actually live with.
Your first session with Kenly
In our first few sessions, my goal is simple: to get to know you. Yes, we’ll review medical history and nutrition, but I’m equally interested in your day-to-day life. Who are you cooking for? Do you enjoy cooking, or avoid it at all costs? What does movement look like for you right now? How are you sleeping? How’s your stress? All of these pieces matter, and all of you matters. I believe the most effective nutrition support is sustainable support. I can only meet you where you are if I understand your unique experiences—not just a list of lab values, but you as a whole person. I strive to create a safe, affirming, judgment-free space for everyone, regardless of identity, background, or life circumstances. In your first session, you can expect to discuss medical history, nutrition, sleep, stress, and movement, while also having space to share whatever feels comfortable. This is a collaborative conversation, moving at a pace that feels supportive, doable, and tailored to you.
