About Kim

Hi, I’m Kim. I earned my BS in Food and Nutrition from San Diego State University and have eight years of experience as a Registered Dietitian. I’ve spent time in Community Health, helping families and communities build practical nutrition skills. My strengths include maternal, postpartum, infant, and children's nutrition, as well as diabetes and weight management. I carry the CLE credential, reflecting my commitment to ongoing learning. When I’m not working, you’ll find me cooking, doing yoga or dancing, tending a garden, or enjoying time with friends and family. I’m glad you’re here.

Approach to care

I believe care should be evidence-based, empathetic, and collaborative. My approach blends science with a warm, nonjudgmental stance, helping you feel seen as we build real-life changes. I’m direct and action-oriented, translating research into clear steps you can take this week, this month, and beyond. Grounded in HAES, I view health holistically and focus on sustainable behaviors, not diets, while honoring your values and goals. Education is a cornerstone of my practice, and together we'll build the knowledge you need to feel confident making decisions that fit your life.

Your first session with Kim

Our first session is a conversation about you and your goals. We'll review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics, and we'll establish short-term goals in a collaborative way. There’s no pressure to have it all figured out before we meet. You don’t need to arrive with perfect answers; we'll meet you where you are and together we'll start shaping a simple plan you can begin this week. By the end, we'll have a couple of practical steps and a sense of the path forward.
