About Kimberly
Hi! My name is Kim and I'm here to help! My experience working as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) has been primarily working with patients for chronic disease management including weight, prediabetes and diabetes, and heart health. I decided to become a RDN after going through my own weight journey many years ago, and now I love helping improve their health and well-being through nutrition education, collaboration, and sincere empathy. I grew up in Delaware but now I live in Reno, Nevada where the great outdoors are so accessible!
Approach to care
My approach is professional, yet informal. We'll work together, collaboratively, in order to reach your health goals. I'll be your coach, cheerleader, guide, and resource for credible information. I won't tell you what and when to eat, and what does and doesn't work best for you. We figure it out together. I emphasize the importance of building a strong nutritional foundation first and finding a balance for sustainable health.
Your first session with Kimberly
In our first session we'll take some time to get to know one another, and I'll be asking a lot of questions about your eating and health habits, as well as additional factors that impact your health such as sleep and stress. Gathering this information helps me to assess your goals, needs, and challenges. We'll develop a personalized care plan and set some specific, realistic goals for moving forward.
