About Kimberly

Are you struggling with your relationship with food? You’re not alone—and you don’t have to face it alone. I’m a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with over 20 years of experience helping people heal their relationship with food, find balance, and break free from harmful eating patterns. I specialize in disordered eating, eating disorders, diabetes, and co-occurring conditions. As a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and Consultant (CEDS-C) and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES), I provide compassionate, individualized nutrition counseling rooted in evidence-based care. Whether you’re seeking freedom from the cycle of restriction and guilt or support in managing diabetes, I’m here to guide you toward peace with food, your body, and your health.

Approach to care

My approach is direct, supportive, and centered on you. I focus on three guiding principles: Health at Every Size, everything in moderation, and healthy, intuitive movement. By staying on the leading edge of nutrition and therapeutic strategies, I work with you through medical nutrition therapy, personalized education, behavior-change techniques, and goal setting—helping you create lasting, sustainable changes that support your unique health and wellness goals.

Your first session with Kimberly

In our first session, we’ll focus on you—your unique medical history, your usual eating patterns, your relationship with food, and most importantly, your personal goals. As we talk, I’ll provide education, answer your questions, and ensure you feel supported every step of the way. By the end of our session, we’ll work together to choose two or three small, realistic goals to get you started. These manageable steps create the foundation for lasting change—because small, consistent actions can lead to remarkable results.

Education

I hold a Master’s Degree in Dietetics from Mount Mary College in Milwaukee, WI, and a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Michigan State University. In addition, I’ve completed extensive specialized training and certification programs in best-practice nutrition approaches for disordered eating, eating disorders, weight management, and diabetes care. This advanced education and training allow me to provide you with the most effective, evidence-based strategies to support your unique health needs and goals.

Hobbies

Outside of work, I enjoy an active life with my husband, our twin boys, and our trio of pets—a German Shepherd, a Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix, and a Maine Coon cat. I love spending time outdoors biking and hiking, and I also appreciate quiet moments with a good book, puzzle, or movie. At home, I often unwind by baking or diving into a creative craft project. I find that these activities keep me balanced and energized, which helps me bring my best to supporting you in your wellness journey.
