About Kimberly
I am a Registered Dietitian with over 20 years of experience in a variety of nutrition care settings. I am Board certified as a specialist in Gerontological Nutrition, but I also study and practice functional health and medicine. I use empathy and compassion in regards to nutrition education in order to aide others in optimizing nutritional health.
Approach to care
I am passionate about being our best self, and I love helping my clients achieve optimal health. I use multiple education techniques to introduce nutrition concepts. I feel it is important to explore barriers to our nutrition health and consider multiple lifestyle interventions that can lead to better health outcomes.
Your first session with Kimberly
During our first session, I will confirm information received from the referral, including medical history and mediation. We will discuss client goals. We will discuss routine dietary patterns, which may include a dietary recall. We will also discuss any pertinent family history, lifestyle factors, and barriers to optimal nutrition health. We will establish at least one short term goal, and one long term in which to focus. Over the course of sessions, I will facilitate the client in meeting these goals with research based interventions.
