About Kimberly
Hi Iām Kim, a Registered Dietitian, and Iām so glad you found me here at Nourish! I decided to become a dietitian after my mom was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes when I was in high school. I watched her make healthier choices and lose weight with the help of a dietitian and that really sparked my interest in the field! I love everything about nutrition and believe it is just one important part of living a healthy life. As a dietitian, I believe in balance over restriction, meaning you donāt have to eat a āperfectā diet to be healthy. Instead, itās about finding a way of eating and cooking that works for you, one that feels satisfying and is sustainable.
Approach to care
My approach to care is centered around small, simple changes that will make a big impact on your overall health. Iāll send you simple, approachable recipes for your busy life, as well as ones that are balanced and filled with flavors that youāll actually love! Everyoneās needs are different, but I tend to focus on protein and fiber, as these are two nutrients that I believe to be super important for overall health and weight loss.
Your first session with Kimberly
I know how difficult it can be to find a healthcare provider that you connect with. In your first session with me, we will get to know each other first! I want you to feel relaxed and think of me as a friend who you check in with every week. We will discuss what your typical day looks like, explore your relationship with food, and review your history with diet and exercise. We will discuss your medical history and any roadblocks you have encountered throughout your journey with food. Together we will set goals and a plan to help you achieve them in a realistic and sustainable way.

In my free time, I enjoy weight lifting and exercising, and spending time with my two goldendoodles, Reagan & Ruby. I also enjoy cooking and browsing the grocery store to see what is new! Iām a fan of all things reality tv on Bravo, and always try to find time each week to listen to my favorite podcast, Giggly Squad.
