About Kindann
Hi, I am Dr. Kindann Fawcett, owner of The Dietitian Doctor, a dietetic clinic specializing in nutrition, health, and well-being. I have spent 20 years developing my skills as a scientist, educator, and nutrition business professional. Professionally, I am a registered and licensed dietitian in Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Illinois, Massachusetts, and a certified Dietitian and Nutritionist in New York. I have a BS in Nutrition and Exercise from Oklahoma State University, an MS in Community Health Promotion, and a Ph.D. in Behavioral Health Science from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. I am also a Certified Personal Trainer. After working in public health and nutrition, I concurrently completed an ISPP (Individualized Supervised Practice Pathway) in Dietetics with The Ohio State University and a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Pediatrics, focusing on neuromuscular diseases and nutrition.
Approach to care
I believe in focusing on behavior change and using theoretical models as a base for my practice. Motivational Interviewing and Behavioral Health theories help educate individuals and groups with the knowledge and tools necessary to take small, realistic, and attainable steps towards achieving their goals. I take great pride in helping individuals accomplish their goals in private practice. Inspiring behavior changes with motivational interviewing and counseling psychology helps me create ownership with my clients on their individualized goals and allows them to “own” their health journey. I am here as a guide, cheerleader, and wingman. I believe in solving real food and nutrition challenges with simple yet effective solutions.
Your first session with Kindann
In our first session, we "get to know each other." I like to think of it as a first date; either we click on it, or we find you someone who best fits your needs. We will review your health history and any food-related issues, hobbies, interests, etc. On a personal note, my motto of "Real Food, Real Science, Real Change, Real Life" is not simply a catchphrase but a way of life.

I love to be outdoors—I grew up on a farm! I am an old soul who loves to read fiction books, relax poolside, refurbish furniture, build a fort for my kiddo, or plant a garden ( that I might or might not be able to keep alive).
