About Kirsten
Hi! I have been a Registered Dietitian for over 20 years and worked in various healthcare settings from Critical Care to home. My extensive experience working with critically and chronically ill patients including stroke, surgical/trauma, oncology and neurodegenerative diagnosis throughout the transition of care has made me passionate about helping patients to understand βthe whyβ of their nutrition therapy and be pro-active with nutrition interventions to optimize health outcomes. I consider myself a lifelong learner always striving to keep up with best practices and strive to help patients to navigate the vast amount of information available through online sources.
Approach to care
I believe that food is something that should be enjoyed and found that building a strong partnership with my clients to create a judgement free zone has been the key to attaining and sustaining simple goals that help them to maintain a fulfilling quality of life while meeting their wellness goals.
