About Krista

I am a non-diet, weight-inclusive dietitian with a deep love for nature, exploration, and gentleness. Throughout my career, I have gained experience in various settings, primarily focusing on outpatient eating disorder recovery and holistic wellness. I value the opportunity to work one-on-one with clients in a therapeutic setting, where I can geek out over nutrition and help them live their best lives! I am particularly passionate about supporting individuals with disordered eating, eating disorder recovery, gut health, hormonal balance, and holistic well-being. In my work, I always strive to embody my core values of authenticity, connection, and growth.

Approach to care

My approach to nutrition counseling is empathetic, holistic, and individualized. I love using Intuitive Eating and Health-at-Every-Size principles while focusing on integrated approaches for mind, body, and spirit. I emphasize an approach that is additive rather than restrictive and allows space for clients to be the experts of their bodies. My goal is to empower clients by improving their relationships with their bodies and food and help maximize them with supportive, evidence-based nutrition and holistic wellness implementations. I work well with highly sensitive and neurodivergent individuals and have been focusing more on various forms of dysautonomia and chronic conditions, such as POTS, MCAS, and EDS. This interest grew after I learned how to manage my own diagnoses!

Your first session with Krista

I want to focus on getting to know you as a whole person! What is healthy for one individual may be harmful to another, so it's important to tailor care to you and your unique needs. During our first session together, I will gather information from a holistic perspective that includes both your physical and mental health, as well as your relationship with food and your body. After that, we will set long-term goals to guide our work together. You can count on me to be non-judgmental, transparent, and trauma-informed to the best of my ability :)
