About Kristen

Hi! I'm Kristen, I love helping people heal their relationship with food to navigate the world of conflicting nutrition information with confidence. I also love supporting women's health through nutrition in areas such as fertility, pregnancy, PCOS, endometriosis, and binge eating. I can support you through building a personalized eating pattern, provide individualized nutrition education, or simply hold space to discuss the challenges in the world of nutrition. I am from Charleston, SC although I am currently living in Charlotte, North Carolina. I love the beach and a warm sunny day. I am so excited to meet you and be a part of your health journey!

Approach to care

My approach to care is friendly and open-minded as everyone is on their own nutrition and health journey! There isn't a perfect way to eat and I love to work with what you are already doing to implement health promoting habits that are attainable and sustainable. I use an intuitive eating and weight-neutral based perspective to provide nutrition care and I love seeing my clients grow confident in their food decisions! Nutrition can be so confusing so I love to provide the space to untangle all of that together.

Your first session with Kristen

In our first session, I will prioritize the time to settle into our virtual space and and exchange a little background to initiate our rapport building. Next, we can discuss what brings you to nutrition counseling and what you hope to get from our meetings. Then we will discuss objective intake topics such as labs, medical history, nutrition history, and realistic goal setting. This first session is a space for you to share anything that you feel might be important for me to know so that you feel adequately supported throughout this journey.
