About Kristen
I am a Registered Dietitian with a Master's degree in Exercise Physiology. I have been practicing for over 20 years in a hospital setting. In addition, I have a strong passion for sports nutrition and have worked with recreational to elite athletes. I am the mother of 3 girls and have a loving husband all who keep me very busy!
Approach to care
I am a compassionate provider that works with individual needs. I like to focus on small changes while still honoring food preferences and lifestyle. Over time, all these small changes lead to significant results. I like to focus on the outcomes of better health such as improved labs, more energy, reduction in risks for chronic disease instead of the scale. I like to look at treating the whole person instead of just a symptom. My goal is to create sustainable habits that can be maintained for a lifetime.
Your first session with Kristen
I want to get to know you. I listen a lot to understand what your short and long term goals are. What is your lifestyle, daily habits, understand if you have any nonnegotiables when it comes to your health journey. I truly want to understand what you are seeking my expertise for so I can tailor your plan to meet your individual needs. I will then leave you with my initial plan on how to address your concerns and give you 1-2 things to focus on until our next meeting.
