About Kristen

Hi, I’m Kristen, a Registered Dietitian with 13 years of experience in both clinical (hospital) and outpatient nutrition. My passion is empowering individuals to achieve their health and wellness goals through personalized, evidence-based nutrition strategies. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics, and have recently focused on holistic and functional nutrition to offer a more comprehensive, well-rounded approach. Over the years, I’ve helped countless clients make lasting changes—whether it’s achieving weight loss, more energy, or improving labs. My approach is always compassionate and non-judgmental, and I meet you where you are in your journey. When I’m not working, you can find me spending time with my family, going for walks, baking, or continuing my education.

Approach to care

My approach to care is centered on compassion, personalization, and empowerment. I believe that nutrition isn’t one-size-fits-all, which is why I take the time to understand each client’s goals, challenges, and lifestyle before crafting a plan that is both realistic and sustainable. Whether you’re managing a chronic condition or seeking to optimize your overall health, my goal is to help you build a positive, lasting relationship with food that supports both your physical and emotional well-being. I work closely with my patients to set realistic goals, track progress, and make adjustments as needed. Together, we’ll focus on building habits that enhance your quality of life—habits that are practical, enjoyable, and aligned with your personal wellness vision.

Your first session with Kristen

In our initial consultation, we’ll start by discussing your personal health goals, current nutrition habits, and any challenges you’re facing. I’ll take the time to listen to your story and understand what has brought you to seek support. This session is about understanding your unique needs—whether it’s managing a medical condition, reaching a weight goal, or simply feeling better in your day-to-day life. We’ll also review your medical history, lifestyle, and any dietary preferences or restrictions, so that I can craft a nutrition plan that works for you. I’ll provide you with actionable tips and resources that you can start implementing immediately. My aim is to empower you with knowledge and set you up for success from the very beginning. By the end of our first session, you’ll have a clear understanding of how we’ll work together, and I’ll be there to support you every step of the way. My goal is to leave you feeling confident, motivated, and excited about the journey ahead!
