About Kristen
Kristen has been a registered dietitian for more than 20 years. She has experience in working with people with various dietary needs but specializes in food allergies, intolerances, digestive conditions, and overall balance and wellness. Years in food service have taught me how to approach self advocacy, communication, and how to set expectations on what you might experience when dining out or experiencing a change in life.
Approach to care
Kristen likes to start not just with food choices and preferences but on how food fits into a person's life and routine. Discussions of mindset surrounding eating and barriers to improvement are also important to making small positive changes to a healthier lifestyle.
Your first session with Kristen
The conversation will definitely focus on you. A significant amount of time will be spent on reflecting on schedule/routine, preferences, aversions, restrictions and of course, goals. Starting strong with measurable and achievable goals is key to progress.
